Called to the Ontario Bar in 1970, Roger's primary area of practice is Business Law. He has broad experience in:
- Commercial Transactions and Contracts
- Mergers and Acquisitions
- Financing
- Shareholders' Agreements and Disputes
- Corporate Restructuring
- Employment Law
- Estate Planning, with emphasis on Family Succession and Trusts
Roger joined Harries, Houser, Brown & McCallum (later Harries, Houser) in 1973 and has been a partner since 1976. Houser, Henry & Syron LLP is the successor firm to Harries, Houser.

Education
Roger graduated in 1965 from the University of Toronto with a bachelor of arts. He studied law at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and graduated with a bachelor of laws in 1968. Roger was called to the Ontario Bar in 1970.
Community Involvement
In 1996, Roger became the volunteer president of the Geneva Centre for Autism, an internationally known, Toronto-based charity providing clinical and resource services to children with autism/PDD and their families.
Roger serves on the boards of directors of a number of his clients.
